New Tandetron in Debrecen

Some months after establishing a super computer in Debrecen, a new equipment has been inaugurated by ATOMKI (Nucleus Research Institue within the Hungarian Academy of Sciences) that focuses on developing and on strenthening its position as research center of Hungary.

Tandetron, a new particle accelerator, is going to be used within the sciences, technology and education, as part of an international network with  high technological scientific applications. The inauguration of the accelerator has been part of the INARIE conference (Integrating Access to Pan-European Research) organised in November 2015 in Debrecen, with the goal to enhance international cooperation, assuring approachability for Eastern-European researchers into international infrastructure.
